Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino, has had a prolific career as an actor, comedian, grammy-winning artist, and many other things. He started as an internet comedian before being hired to play in the TV show “30 Rock.” All the while, Donald had a passion for hip-hop and creating music releasing four mixtapes and three independent albums before signing with Glassnote Records to write his first studio album “Camp.” His subsequent two albums, “Because the Internet” and “Awaken, My Love,” would sweep up categories at the Grammy Awards. It seemed like by 2017, Donald was ready to call it quits but next year he would drop the song of the year with a controversial music video called “This Is America.” On the day that the United States would enter lockdown due to COVID-19, Donald released his fourth studio album “3.15.20.”
