Mötley Crüe traded in the glam glitter for biker jackets on their 1987 “Girls Girls Girls” tour. This was one of the last performances of that tour promoting the album and was two weeks before lead vocalist Nikki Sixx would die and be revived after a heroin overdose. This show was also one of the first shows Guns N’ Roses would play with Mötley Crüe, who was a huge inspiration to the then-fledgling band. Guns N’ Roses had swept the country that year off the backs of the debut album, “Appetite for Destruction.”
