Machine Gun Kelly, or Colson Baker, is an American singer and songwriter who has created a unique fusion of rock and rap. He was raised poor and in diverse neighborhoods and feels rap and hip-hop are relevant to him because of his proximity to these socio-economic issues. He has released over five solo albums since beginning his career in 2006, and has won many music and performance awards during that time. Baker has also ventured into the world of acting and has appeared in a number of small film roles.
