Vertical poster, 24" x 36"

Malcolm X was an outspoken American Civil Rights activist as well as an Islamic priest who was born in 1925. He converted to Islam from Christianity during his time in prison, utilizing the inspiration he found in his conversion to act as a catalyst for his social justice work. Malcolm X's power and sway within his own Black communities are ultimately what landed a target on his back, like so many other political leaders of the time. Malcolm X left behind a legacy of Black empowerment and reclamation that is still called on today.
