Labyrinth is a musical fantasy movie from 1986 about a quest to reach the center of an enormous, otherworldly maze to rescue a baby from the "Goblin King", famously played by David Bowie. The main character, a sixteen-year-old girl named Sarah, is coerced by her mother to watch her infant half-brother Toby. Once Toby starts to cry and touch her things, she becomes so angry she rashly wishes for him to be taken by goblins in the night. Toby turns up missing, and Jareth the Goblin King appears. He offers a deal, he will take the baby and in turn, makes all of Sarah's dreams come true. When she refuses, he challenges her to a game. Thirteen hours to reach the center of his Labyrinth, full of tricks, and she can have the baby back.
