Jimi Hendrix - Whiskey A-Go-Go 1967 Concert Print

Jimi Hendrix performed this three-day series of shows at the end of 1967. His hit songs “Purple Haze” and “Hey Joe” were some of the biggest pop songs of the year and his new album “Are You Experienced?” would be remembered as one of the best rock albums by Rolling Stone magazine. Following all the success and a guitar inferno of a show at Monterey Pop Fest, the Whiskey A-Go-Go shows were only a blip on the radar of memorable moments that year. But it is remembered fondly by Whiskey A-Go-Go and West Coast fans as it helped cement the venue's legacy in Hollywood.
