"Fucked Up Donald" is a rework of Dead on Arrival's earlier track "Fucked Up Ronnie" released back on their 1981 album "Positively D.O.A." The original track was a critique of Ronald Reagan but was altered to include Donald Trump instead in 2016 as a response to his presidential campaign and consequential election.
Dead on Arrival, or D.O.A are often referred to as being one of the "founders" of hardcore punk alongside bands like Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, and more. Their second album "Hardcore '81" was thought to have been the first reference to punk turning more hardcore and helped influence the music scene in America and around the world. D.O.A. is known for its outspoken political opinions and has a history of performing for many causes and benefits. Their slogan is "Talk Minus Action Equals Zero." The band's lyrics frequently advocate anti-racism, anti-globalization, freedom of speech, and environmentalism.
