Catching the eyes of infamous band members from both Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Meat Puppets quickly rose to acclaim with their distinct and original concepts. Creating a unique fusion between country, punk, and psychedelic rock, the Meat Puppets were quick to catch the attention of a major record label and were even invited to perform a live set on MTV's Unplugged with Nirvana shortly before Kurt Cobain's death.
