This image was taken of the band Kraftwerk after they rose to fame with their album Autobahn. The German band helped pioneer and innovate electronic music and was one of the first bands to bring the genre into mainstream popularity. The band created their own genre "robot pop" which was a combination of electronic music and pop vocals.
