"The Exorcist" was an American psychological horror film that was adapted from a novel of the same name in 1973. Released just two years after the release of the book, "The Exorcist" was brought into the world kicking and screaming so to speak. After many issues with securing production, finances, and even cast and crew for the film, director William Friedkin experienced issue after issue creating the movie, even experiencing deaths on set from a fire that broke out. Rumors circulated that the film was cursed, a fitting idea to such a haunting movie.
