Vol. 4 is Black Sabbath's 4th studio album and was the start of their sound becoming what we all know and love today.
Black Sabbath is considered the founder of heavy metal and is one of the most well-known metal bands in history. They are famous for their horror-themed lyrics and intense riffs. They rose to fame in the 70s & 80s and have sold over 70 million records since. The lead singer of Black Sabbath was originally Ozzy Osbourne until he was booted from the band for his excessive substance abuse. Dio replaced him as the frontman in the 80s, but the band reunited with Ozzy as the lead singer in 1997 and they toured until 2006.
